  The dirt road leading up to the trail is more than just a little treacherous. Dangerous potholes galore! Other than that, the trail was beautiful. It was more than I bargained for as a first-time hiker, but the physical exhaustion that followed was worth the view. Oh, and be wary of wildlife basking on the paths. It’s easy to nearly step on a snake, albeit a harmless snake, if you’re not paying attention. (Pictures are from mid-April 2017 for reference).
